Etude – colors/food

Red tomatoes, beats and radish, ketchup, peppers, and the cherries,
Orange carrots, orange pumpkins, orange squash, and orange orange,

White is milk, and white potatoes, white is yogurt and a turnip
white is sugar, white is rice and white are onions before cooking,

Black are figs and black are walnuts in their shells and toast is black when it is
burning, burning , burning

Brown is cooked meat, brown is chocolate, brown is coffee
when it's mixed with white milk and stirred round and round and round.
